has anyone on here opened up there front signal lights?

Get one off the junkyard first. Then try again, with more force.
On my 850ies I´ve lost the glass off my signal lights just while driving.
Summer: 1996 855 R
Winter: 1994 855 T5M
Donor: 1995 854 10V
