Hy Buddies ,

There is nothing more annoying to me that ones who look for answer, pick up some here, and never give the result. So, for my clutch : it's in progress. The car is up and the gearbox is out : it seems that the fork wasn't the right one, and apparently, there is a clip and a spring are missing. The good new is that the way I've bleeded the clutch stuff was a good one (thanks to Chuck and Volvolugnut for advices).
I will call my Volvo dealer tomorrow to order the parts.

A fork, a spring, a pin and a clip : do I forget something ?

I did suggest here may be a problem with the fork!! But I would not have thought the wrong one was fitted or parts missing. It was the only way I could see the slave cylinder rod over extending. Hopefully, this is now the issue getting fixed for the last time.

I'm sure you did before, but can you send me your Vin# and I will pull out the Vida laptop tonight and see if I can find the part numbers you need.

So, someone has been messing around in there before you, if the fork is incorrect.

The missing bushing would've caused the over-extension of the slave cylinder, but it sounds like someone put it back together wrong in the first place.
