A good day yesterday......

If you leave off the last exhaust stud you can easily swing in the water pipe gasket after the head goes on.

Head is on and torqued!

A light smudge of gasket sealer will hold a gasket in place until you get the bolts in. Kind of like having a third hand.

Completely forgot to docment this.

If you get stuck on the alloy union on the Power steering return hose....

Stop.

remove hose clamp on reservoir.

Snake the return line off with the rack

Deal with the union on the bench.

Good call on that one. It's a lot easier to clamp the return line back onto the reservoir.

New Rein head bolts. It’s hard to reuse them when I heard the noises of them coming out

White block head bolts are always ridiculously right. They make some great creaking!
