It could go both ways, really. The engine can cause a good deal of shudder if there's something amiss. Putting it in N at standstill makes it idle, i.e. not ready for taking off. That puts some other controls in charge. But I definitely think that troubleshooting solenoid and converter should be next on your list, if you've ruled out MAF, IAC, hoses and ignition.

I have heard that there are a mashine you connect to the transmission and then run a cleaning fluid throught the gearbox.
That could losen if any solenoid is hanging.
Have you heard of this ?

DON'T powerflush these transmissions. They DON'T like it. Chances are that you'll dislodge deposits which will then wreak havoc on the tranny. If you suspect that the fluid is bad, then drain and fill is the way to go - do a quick search here - there's at least a couple of good write-ups in the DB. :)

The fluid is clear red and don`t smell.

Just think if a solenoid is hanging then a good cleaning could do the job, but thanks for the warning.

Well... if all else fails, do what the mechanic recommended. I've also said that it's probably time to troubleshoot those two possibilities.

As you said earlier maybe it`s comning from the engine.

Wounder if it is my tuning chips that is the problem, so today I changed to my original ecu boxes and will then see.

Another thing. I just got ARD cam tool to set cams.
Was told that for NA engine I should advance both exhurst and intake 3 degres, but now I read this :

"Therefore on normally aspirated vehicles you want to INCREASE camshaft overlap by moving the camshafts TOWARDS one another (retarding the exhaust camshaft and advancing the intake camshaft)."

Well, if you read that page, adjusting cams doesn't really do much on an NA. 6 whp at most, and like it also states, you need a dyno to run multiple trials of what you've done, between each adjustment, in fact.

On an NA, you want overlap, to rid the engine of spent air/fuel, i.e. exhaust. Quick expulsion means quick intake of new, good stuff, and adds top end power. On a turbocharged car, the formula is a little different, since you don't need help from the valves to pull in new stuff. The turbo does that.

Yes but ARD and others told me that I will not more bhp, but by moving powerband down I will get quicker speederresponse and less power in top.

That`s what I want. Quicker from start and don`t mind topspeed/power, and advanceing the cams should do that.
