If its G-05 you are good. My bad. I associate Zerex with the cheap stuff that needs 2 year replacement intervals. Honestly, I replace mine every three years, even with the expensive stuff. Keeping the water pump clean and lubed is how I think you get 250k out of it.

All I know Zerex for is G-05. It's made by Valvoline, so I would figure the cheap stuff was branded as "Valvoline."

I went to buy Zerex G05 for $14.95 a gallon and saw that it was a 50/50 blend already. I would have needed to buy 2 gallons. I decided to go with Volvo antifreeze, it was $28.00 for an uncut mixture, meaning when I mix it I'll have 2 gallons.

Wow, I have never seen 50/50 G-05. Good move. Around here I pay $18 a gallon for the 100 percent product.

Its cheaper there because its made with potatoes...no wait,thats Idaho...corn.

When I was at Advance Auto last week I saw G-05 full strength and 50/50, then there was the red Asian vehicle formula.

When I run low on gas, I just pull over and stuff corn plants into the filler neck. In the summer, anyway.
