hi how can i do programmation with vida for a instrument cluster change in my 2003 xc70 petrol
i have the airbag problem and want to change the cluster , but need to re program, many thanks

It depends what exactly you are going to do.

1. If you want to use same kind used cluster (same part number) you can use it as is. Only couple exceptions - mileage and language. If you want to leave your original mileage and/or language, in this case you have to extract data from your original cluster and program it to used one.

2. You can use cluster from 2004 MY car, with LED backlight and green connector. In this case you need to program cluster with correct SW. Because SW from 2004 is not compatible to 2003...

For reprograming you can use programmator. There are many brands and solutions, up to you. Also, there are remote online services, which can help you with this point.

But, unfortunately, you are not able to reprogram cluster with regular VIDA.

ok i understand, thanks very much, i have a used cluster from a s60 which is the same as mine so i need to reprogram it, very hard to find over here
