The entire mechanism is lifting. It isn't the four torx that hold the glass, it's the mechanism to which the glass is held. At first I tried to re-align the glass with the four torx but that wasn't the problem at all.
What could this be and how could I potentially fix it? Does the headliner need to be removed?
It must be whatever is lifting the glass at the end when closing it, this lifting mechanism which I cannot see must be part of the issue. I don't have leaks it is just annoying as 99% of my driving is over potholes and uneven roads.
After lifting the window in the vent position, I have noticed that the play is gone, but as soon as I close it a bit, the most play I observe is in the bit marked A, specifically the circled part that looks like it's some guide.
