P80 tailgate removal solo
Couple of notes on getting a tailgate off by yourself.
Open and prop, I used my jack Left disconnect. Big plug under trim then work plug through the grommet. You have to remove plastic clip and perhaps cut the gasket
Right disconnect. Another clip, gasket , and pop off the washer hose inside , pull hose though
Now remove the four outboard facing T40 bolts and let the tailgate loose.
