Wow!
The online parts sites are so screwed up on this. Mainly actual Volvo sites!!
On one site this comes back as the lock pin for the temp sensor, on another the part number says for P3 5 cylinder engines only. On a 3rd when just using the part number search it came back with the coolant sensor 'kit' which comprises the sensor, the lock pin and a new o-ring seal.
It is a minefield for parts out there, tread carefully!
