hi. hope someone can help me here.
all things on my dashoboard are illuminated ok, except for the clock. although if i get close enough i can see the clock is still showing and working, the "backlight" is not on. none of the electrical schematics i have mention anything of a bulb only for the lcd clock display. beginning to annoy me now as i drive a lot at night and can no longer see the time.
help please.
thanks

There are 6 bulbs that light up different areas. There is one directly behind the clock display. The bulb assembly is around $6.50. On the S80, there are 2 screws that hold the black plastic shroud around the display. Then there are 4 T20 screws that hold the instrument module in. It pulls right out and the bulb assembly twists out. It took me 30 min for the entire job.
Good Luck
Here is a picture after the repair. The newer bulbs actual look brighter that the stock ones.
