Hi Im new to the site and a 1st time car owner/newbie. I brought a 2000 S80 non turbo recently, now Im getting the check engine light so I had the obd read and the codes were 0442 and 1152. Are these easily fixable repairs?? or should I start recycling cans to pay for the repairs.
Thanks
OBD Codes.
Quick question, do you happen to leave the car running when putting gas in? I did that when I first got my V70 and CEL came on and the mechanic said its a small evap leak, and not to leave it running when fueling. Never came back again!
1152 is probably an o2 sensor, I think..

The P1152 is: O2 Sensor Front, Bank 2. These are a pain to change and cost about $150 to buy. Get the OEM type to avoid problems.

No I shut the car off on fill ups. I even tried to tighten the gas cap to make sure.jbrown122 wrote:Quick question, do you happen to leave the car running when putting gas in? re 0442 code (small leak in evap system), I just fixed my 1999 S80 using the excellent post by "Jake of Sigourney", headed "2001 V70 T5, 163K miles". His advice was perfect.silkyslim wrote:Hi Im new to the site and a 1st time car owner/newbie.
