92 960 wagon just started loud squealing from central pulley attached to tensioner, when idling or off throttle. Can this be lubricated? Tensioner adjusted?
Thanks!I
serpentine belt pulley squeals
You also need to verify that the noise is not coming from the timing belt system.
Take off the serpentine belt and start the engine, if there is no longer a noise than it is the serpentine system and not the timing belt system.
Make sure, because it is a interference engine, and a broken timing belt will cause the valves to be bent.
