What does this cable do? (v70 2008-)

Hello,

On the rightside of the cargo-area of my 08 V70 I found this cable. Does somebody knows what is does? I don't have a 12v outlet, so maybe...

Is there a picture on the head of it? Fuel door lock release maybe?

Oh, the wire. Looks like a 12 outlet connector. Probably an option.

That is your manual fuel door release.

@Ed: I think you are pointing at that green plastic cord: that's indeed the door release.
My question is about that wire laying in front of that.

The wire goes to the fuel door lock solenoid.

Rather than open a new thread, our 2003 xc70 fuel door no longer locks.
Better than being permanently locked I suppose.
While investigating I found that T shaped connector loose. Looks like the one referenced as going to the solenoid
Where is the solenoid I can connect it to?
And how can I access it?
