Fitting s60-T5 16T Turbo to my 97 850R

Post by JP850R »

I happen to have an extra 00 S60 T5 motor laying around. I have just pulled apart my 97 850R to rebuild the head and rplc the head gasket, I had the ole milk shake of oil and antifreeze mixing. I figure while the 850 is apart I will have easy access to replacing the turbo and switching over to the 16T and updated S60 mani.

I have read up some on this topic and am still missing some pieces of the puzzle. I see the ext manifold is a simple bolt on. Now going from a straight 15G turbo to the s60's angle design 16T will require mods to the turbo coolant lines.

Does any one have pics of the custom lines you used to do this swap?

TIA
