Loose covering on steering wheel

Post by arbop »

I currently have two 240s, and one 940, and all three cars have loose "padding" at the top of the steering wheel, where the wheel is normal held. It is not the "rubbering" coating, but it is what I would guess to be some sort of foam material that is bonded to the frame of the steering wheel. Is there any repair possible, or a place to get a reasonably-priced wheel, or perhaps an after market solution? Thanks

I have heard that some inject some glue with a needle, but I just get thick aftermarket covers at the jy. Sometimes I get lucky and there are some very good ones, for a buck or two.
