Hey guys,
The rubber line from the fuel pump to the fuel filter is cracked and leaking fuel everywhere. I have a new one on the way in, but wanted to double check.... Do I need to drop the tank at all to fix this? I really really really hope not....

Don't know about Volvo but in the BMW world, the hose .D. is about 8-mm, so people use a barb coupler of appropriate size, connect the old hose and the new hose.
Place clamps on both sides, then pull it through.
The problem with the Volvo fuel hose is the quick-disconnect end, which has a seal that you don't want to damage.
I wonder if you can use solid copper wire (the wire used in home construction), pass it from below then tape it to the outside of the new hose and pull it through?
