For Florida, 5W30 is a valuable choice, 10W30 or 10W40 would be even better. I don't see too often a 0W40, Castrol does a good 0W30 made in Germany (do they sell it in the US?). The closer the range between the first number and the second one, the better. A 0Wxx is mainly for very cold climates start up. Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Pennzoil Platinum come to mind. Mann oil filter is great, I think it's the same for 2.5 but better x2 check

mobil makes a 0-40 synthetic that meets all the specs and has a very low volatility, so very PCV friendly.
it's also fairly cheap

and easy to come by.

If the car has never seen synthetic oil, the synthetic oil will quickly clog the oil filter with dislodged debris. Better leave the Fram filter for no more than 300 miles, then replace it with a better filter. Mann sells off Ebay for around $6.
