So I was replacing the vacuum hose line coming into the manifold. This snapped when taking the hose clamp off. It is after hours and I need to travel this weekend. Is this a part that the volvo dealership would stock? If not is there a good replacement?

If you can get a check vale that big (hose size) , go for it, look at the arrow for direction to reinstall correctly..(on old valve). that happened to me also, I put a hooaky larger hoe and a reducer got me by till I got a new one, yes a pain because of location..

So I have had no luck in finding a replacement. The volvo dealership here has not been able to identify that part. I have a lot of time on http://www.volvopartswebstore.com/ and not been able to identify the part no so I can order it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have only been able to find the vacuum check valves for the brake booster.

Do you have a self-serve auto salvage yard in your area? You would most likely find one there. I removed the same/similar hose/check valve on my 1998 V70 T5 last week and was concerned about doing the exact same thing by twisting/pulling the vacuum hose off. Also, be sure to install in the exact orientation, check valve and hoses. I initially installed backwards and my idle was high at 1300 rpm's....re-checked my work and corrected it, idle back to 900 rpm' s.

Pull the broken piece out of the hose and JB weld back togther. You need to put a filet around the pipe to give the joint strength and degrease well, too.
