EVAP Canister location

Post by LACRUSHER »

I am looking for a schematic for the EVAp System. I have a code stating 'small leak detected". I have crawled under the truck on the passenger side looking for the darn thing and I cannot find it. I want to replace the hoses that lead to the EVAP Canister and the purge valve.
Please help, this is driving me nuts! :x :x :x

On my old XC70 I recall having similar issues and read about spider webs and eggs causing the issue. Taking apart items near the fuel filler pipe revealed that to be the case. Cleaned them up and had no issues afterwards. My guess is they got in via the overflow hole near the fuel filler neck and caused its valving to stay open. Cannot hurt to look.
