Re: Battery Light
check the small plug on the back of the alt. look for loose or corrosion inside plug. Two different indications can happen. 1. Red battery warning light means the serpentine belt broke or battery/cables loose etc. 2. Warning dialogue in the driver information window point to the alternator not energ...

Re: P2097 Woes... AGAIN.... V70 2.4T (P2)
I'll hazard a guess its the wrong hoses causing it to run lean, ECM compensates by running it rich. P2097 shows the rich condition at the O2 sensor. Engine is too rich to restart until it cools and resets at the ECM. Over the long term it might damage the cat by running rich. VIDA should show the pr...

Re: Massive Oil Leak
I would go ahead and pull that engine mount back off, and retrace your steps back toward to the far exhaust cam seal, then play with the reluctor wheel. Just for fun :) from the maintenance you listed, I don't see what else could make the described noise. Retracing is a good approach, could very we...

Re: Prop Shaft Removal & CV Joint Replacement Writeup - 2006 S60 AWD
I’m not getting the visual on this Erik, maybe a picture sometime? he's saying use a cap head allen bolt from the rear, through a blank hole into the threaded front plate, use a pointed air chisel in the allen bolt, the cap head bolt will prevent the chisel point from jumping out. Its 8F here, mayb...

Would this tool: https://www.harborfreight.com/universal-overhead-valve-spring-compressor-60335.html from harbor freight work? See if this h...
