This assumes your locks are 2 stage ones like ours are. Not sure what a valet key does. It may only open the driver's door not all doors....

Re: Head removal - stuck - 2004 xc70 2.5t
Turbo removal is not necessary, just undo the manifold.
Use gasket's cardboard to protect it while jiggling the repaired head around.

Re: coolant line on the back of the head, bolt size?

Re: Clean or replace oil trap?
If your car in a turbo then your can probably clean out the oil trap with carb cleaner or the like. However if your car is a non-turbo then there will be a vacuum control diaphragm that is integral to the oil trap. Those diaphragms get coked up to the point of failure making the oil trap a throw-awa...

Re: Clean or replace oil trap?
If you have a lot of money, replace it. Otherwise, re-use it after cleaning with gasoline +/- carb cleaner as mentioned above. It is just a simple plastic box. Some years ago, I cut open the PCV trap (PN 1271988) in my 1998 S70, you can see the inside anatomy in this thread below. The design of P2 a...

Re: No oil pressure - clogged pickup screen?
Update. Changed oil and filter 2 days ago, added 5oz sea foam in with the oil. Oil pressure warning came on again 2x today (after about 40 miles driving). I guess pulling the oil pan is next. @Krons Thanks! Is the o-ring you're referring to part #37 in the attached diagram? From https://www.volvopa...

Re: P0016 power train code, camshaft sensor wires?
vida will give a more definitive code than that.
On mine it said "cam signal out of range", no kiddin, the cam sensor was loose, it couldn't get a steady signal.
