Re: Car & Driver 2008 V70 3.2 test results, 0-60 etc.
MVS Readers, For some reason I was thinking about this post. A YouTube brain teaser question made me think about it. Here is what I would propose 2001 V70 T5 (247 bhp) 1/4 mile time 15.5 seconds 92 mph vs 2008 V70 3.2 (235 bhp) 1/4 mile time 15.8 seconds 91 mph At 92 MPH--> 134 ft./sec * 0.3 second...

New to me 240
Hello, Up until this point I have been only lurking in this forum, but I finally bought my first 240. So here is a little introduction if you will. The car is a 92' 240GL which spent most of it's life in California before it moved to Florida for a few years and then to MA to a collectors home. That ...

Re: Who's gotten vaccinated?
This may be the first mRNA vaccine to be produced, but the technology has been around since the 1980's. Concerning possible bad long term effects, this short article tells that most bad side effects show up in a couple months. https://www.muhealth.org/our-stories/how-do-we-know-covid-19-vaccine-wont...

Re: Solved - Rpm didn't go over 3500 and s70 died on me
Update: I got the fuel pump from FCP ( as always since 2009). I put it and testing since yesterday, and it is really good, the turbo is kicking in and gives good power. I was thinking my car's turbo needed maintenance for last a couple of months since it wasn't kicking in the way it was used to. How...

Re: 3D Printable Fuel Cap Retaining Ring Tool
Sorry for the long delay here, all. I ended up leaving my fuel pump alone for now as it seems to be working alright and is keeping AFRs where I want them with my current tune. That said, I did update the STL file for this thing based on the provided measurements and I attached it to this. If anyone ...

Re: Nevada1906 1995 850 S60R m56 build thread
Moving on to the coolant bypass line. I measured the tubing, cut it to length and taped it. Obviously this is just the mockup. I still have to solder the lines together, flare the ends and get some insulated brackets to hold the line securely. 20211017_143921.jpg 20211017_144340.jpg 20211017_144626....

DIY - P80 broken door check welds, driver's side
The symptom is a door that pops and creaks when opened and closed. If you look where the door strap connects to the pillar you can see movement on the body side of the strap, because the two spot welds have broken. There are dozens of posts about this problem over the years. Here is a good one from ...

Re: VDASH- ViDA for newer Volvos? Free!
Yes it can be done in the bench, but there is an alternative I´ve got from D5T5 (vDash developers). You can run the "Configuration Test" software on VIDA. Once you do, VIDA will write a few log files on the computer where you ran it (yours or the dealers). C:\users\<user_name>\VIDA\Prod\LO...
