AFAIK that remote is for 1998 and later cars only. Check the fitment tab in this IPD listing:

I believe the rear seat heaters are much more common than the 3rd seat heaters:)

1) Cold weather
2) started but ran only a short time
3) sounds like no compression when it turns over
