Re: Fuel rail pressure still too low AFTER replacing sensor, fuel pump, PEM and filter
Also, more basic things like the spark plugs and timing belt in good condition. If you want to keep looking for what may cause the fuel pressure to be low - but I recommend using used parts otherwise it will get too costly, may also look at the bottom contacts of the ECM (I put a video showing how t...

Re: 2007 xc90 v8 serpentine belt replacement help
May try compare the new belt with the broken one, otherwise look at each pulley to make sure the belt sits correctly centered on the pulley

Re: XC90 Front end issues ...help please
Was the car in any incident with one of the front wheels hitting a curb ? Was the front strut or spring replaced ? How about the wheel bearings ? Which power steering fluid are you using ? After replacing the tie rods, at which of those places did you got the geometry done ? The first thing I would ...

Re: 04 s60 engine id
As abov,e if you are lucky and still have the large sticker on the side cover of the tb, otherwise you will need to decode the stamping on the block www.youtube.com/watch?v=irtWJPYWyGg Use a Continental belt kit - if replacing the pump at 200k miles use Aisin (Continental includes Hepu water pumps w...

Re: XC90 Front end issues ...help please
I also had to suffer from shops not paying attention. In fact, I had shops telling me they've done the alignment - but without presenting a paper with the numbers (I didn't even know this had to be delivered), only to find out the release nuts on the tie rods were completely seized for long time so ...

Re: brake bleed nipples
Get them from Volvo or used from the breakers. I tried an aftermarket one and it didn't fit tight. I believe these are the same front-rear even if the top part looks different - so may use front ones on the rear calipers because it appears more solid. As for tapping I'm not expert but I tried once t...

Re: Fuel rail pressure still too low AFTER replacing sensor, fuel pump, PEM and filter
Congrats for the perseverance and solving. Quite surprising about the PEM, but indeed, when chasing a problem in the dark, the junkyard is the best place, otherwise we end spending way too much.

Re: 2002 s60t unusual startup problem.
When it does so, look at the rpm needle, does it move along with how the engine is 'trying' or does is stays at 0 ? You can grab a crank sensor from the junkyard for $10 and put it in there yourself. If he wants to remove the transmission, ouch. The sensor bolt does get stuck and the bracket has no ...

Re: 2006 V70 Hood Release
Good idea to lube the cable. I also show how to undo the cable somewhere in the video, but also try to adjust a little the two rubber 'stops' on the hood itself. As the hood is opened, the hood has two rubber 'stops', one at each front corner. You may 'unscrew' a little each of these, to release a l...
