Free!! S/V/C 70 walnut dash center for Radio/AC

I have a walnut (I believe) trim piece for the dash assembly where the radio, A/C controls and ash tray go. The face has no blemishes or cracks. All of the screw mounting holes exist. The mounting holes have cracks from vibration/ tightening, but are serviceable. A dab of glue/ JB weld and they are ...

I am coming in way late to the party. Is this still for sale or have you already sold it?

Re: Struts for 99 V70

Any criticisms of the Lesjofors? Neither one of these spring is marked M1 which the builders plate has the front suspension code as but I get this impression they are size wise at least compatible. I don’t think a little stiffer spring will bother me as long as it works correctly in tandem with the...

Re: They were right Oetiker clamps are amazing

Hint - you can store a spare oetiker on the hose inboard of the clamp in case you do have to remove one on the road, and tighten with dikes or wire cutters. This is the smartest thing I have seen. I always add an extra belt or two on machinery to do quick swaps. Never thought about fasteners. This ...

They were right Oetiker clamps are amazing

Y’all. I work on ships. We use thousands of hose clamps. Double clamps if below the water line. And I have thousands of the most beautiful, stainless steel, German made, stamped-not-pierced hose clamps one could want. The kinds that the edges have been deburred so you don’t cut yourself. The kinds t...

Re: Another question about Power Steering

To bleed the power steering, turn the engine on,remove the cap from ps reservoir and turn the wheel fully from one side to another for a 10-15min or untill the noise stops. Just make sure that oil is at correct level. Atf is correct fluid for p80...chf 202 is for p2. I didn’t realize that one should...

Another question about Power Steering

I have encountered the dreaded power steering whine. It won’t be present when I turn on the car, but after a few minutes of driving it appears. When driving in a straight line, it is a relatively quiet whine, and if I turn for a 90° turn it gets to be a much louder “definitely power steering groanin...
