First I'd say ETM issue, but you have a 1998.

As long as you take care of it and maintain it, these cars can go 600k miles or more. One member over on Swedespeed has 401k miles on his 99 S70. I have 214k miles on mine, and it's been more reliable than some new cars we've had.

It will. It is higher after you drive because the Nivomats pump themselves up.

It's easiest to take the center console out and get at them from behind. Center console comes out literally after two screws.
