2001 XC70 lug bolts coming loose?
I have a friend with a 2001 XC70 who gets his car serviced regularly at a highly reputable shop in town. Recently he had a wheel come loose after some brake work. The car was towed back to the shop who quickly picked up the car, examined it, and retorqued the wheels to 105 lbs. A week later the same...

Re: S60 Clunk on take off.
That would be the FRONT engine mount (right side of the car) Wow... ok. It seems I must apologize for my lack of perfect terminology... In any case, the mount in question is below the serp belt and timing cover on the right side frame. Often, Seal leaks, water pump leaks, and power steering leaks c...

Re: '04 Volvo S60 "Moaning Noise" From Engine
Moaning... First thing I'd check is if the power steering fluid is low? 04+ takes CHF 11s so many places do not fill them because they don't have it.

Re: S60 Clunk on take off.
I just saw something like this the other day. What happened was the lower right engine mount below the timing cover was toast and, due to it being torn out, had put extra strain on the upper engine mount (which totally ruined it). The engine was literally jumping out of the car. So my advice would b...

Re: Front end vibration
Ok, just be sure that the wetness is water and not power steering fluid. If it is atf, then your going to have to replace the rack. If its just water, make sure your repair the boot and check your power steering fluid res clamps to see if they are leaking. If they, are simply remove the factory clam...

Re: V40 misfire, won't run, and P102
Well that sounds like a couple of things. First of all, Check your air hoses. You could have a rip in an intake hose causing your car to sputter and die. Another thing to consider is if your car cranks for a long time before starting you could have a bad fuel pressure regulator. These are your quick...

Re: Front end vibration
Wait... was it a CV boot or the rack boot that was torn and wet? If its the rack boot you need to find out if that wetness is water or power steering fluid.
