Re: 2008 XC70 hissing brake booster questions
there appears to be two groupings of brake boosters for XC70 cars w/o collision brake assist, those with asbestos brake pads and those without asbestos brake pads. Does anyone know why there is a difference based on asbestos pads?

I should have taken a picture of the number on the booster. I'll take one tonight after work. Thanks.

2008 xc70 hissing brake booster questions
I just bought a pre-owned 2008 XC70. How would I know if my car has the Collision Warning with auto brake option (aka pre-crash system) ? I have a hissing vacuum leak brake booster that I need to replace and I want to make sure I get the right replacement booster. I guess if I don't see a camera in ...

2008 x70 torque values for front end
Hello, everybody. I've just bought a 2008 xc70 to replace my 1998 V70 with 400,000 miles on it. I need to replace all the usual front end parts. Does anyone have a list of the torque values for the 2008 xc70? I haven't had any luck finding a manual or any info online. Thanks.

Where to buy ESS "speedometer shims" ?
The Bentley service manual has a section on adjusting the speedometer speed sensor via shims. The manual also tells you of the clearance and tolerance specs. I've done an internet search and can't find anywhere that sells speedometer shims. Any ideas? My speedometer is reading about 6-8 mph too fast...

Re: small part identification
These are the ones for holding down the carpet. So are there multiple carpet holders? I wish I labeled everything but didn't think it was going to take as long as it did to get it done.

hello everyone,
I recently replaced the radio and the carpet in my 1991 240 which obviously requires seat removal. Several months went by before I could finish the job. I was left with two of the small spacer looking objects in the photo. Any ideas of that they are for? Thanks.
