Thanks for the quick responses, you guys are awesome!
I noticed in this picture that your struts are still bolted in, and the wheels are on the ground. I thought for some reason the suspension had to come with the subframe, or atleast some of it.

94 850 turbo wagon - Transmission Swap Time!!
Ok so my transmission is done. Volspec in Escondido has determined that the signal from my transmission is conflicting with the signal from the motor, giving me the 3-2-2 code (incorrect gear ratio) and causing the engine to misfire and the tach to read incorrectly. I tried all the other stuff, like...

94 850 Turbo Wagon - Various Problems - Fix or Sell?
I have a 94 850 turbo wagon, that is giving me so much stress, I am on the verge of just selling it for probably $700 The body is clean, it looks nice - interior is gray and in good shape, decent charcoal paint (oxidized a little bit, but still looks pretty clean) Has michelin tires with 80% tread a...

Re: 850 Will not start
If the motor is turning over, and its not firing up, it could be lots of different things. But most likely its cause you have no spark at the spark plugs or no fuel. Obvious! When you put the key in the on position you should hear the fuel pump buzz a little bit coming from the back of the car to pr...

Re: volvo 850 turbo steering rack
I read up on this a little while ago when I noticed one of my outer tie rod boots was torn and found out is actually kind of a pain in the butt. You have to drop the subframe a little bit to get it out, and there is a motor mount that is attached to the rack too (I am pretty sure) One thing to think...

Re: 94 850 Turbo transmission removal
Thanks ozark! That gives me a good feeling about dropping it from the bottom. I have a cherry picker, so I can use that along with the wood brace hopefully. The code I have been struggling with is 3-2-2 incorrect gear ratio. I cleaned PNP switch, and (reverse lights work starts from neutral) pumped ...

94 850 Turbo transmission removal
Hey guys, I love all the support I get from this awesome site. I followed the write up "wheels up" did when I did my motor swap and everything worked out for me ok, (excellent DIY by the way) But unfortunately, I think my auto transmission is dying. It wont go into reverse after driving, h...

Are you sure the engine is destroyed? Did the bottom out crack the block or something? Compression test?

Re: 1995 850 glt auto trans upshift light flashing
you can check the codes right there under the hood using jumper in the A-1 terminal, and pressing the little black button and counting the flashing red light. 3 digits, like 3-2-2. A quick search on checking codes will give you better details
