Re: 97 NA850 troubleshooting, no codes, out of ideas

In reading this post, I am wondering if it could be your cam position sensor. I have heard of them acting up when the get hot. Just a thought...Good luck!

Re: Synthetic in a '00 V70XC

I am a firm believer in Amzoil. I have had samples with 25,000 miles (recommended for 30,000 miles) sent in for analysis and it is consistent with valvoline at 3,000 miles. You must be sure to keep up on the filter though. Great topic of discussion, thanks for brining it to the table.

Re: Volvo or ? Antifreeze?

Hello; I would drain the system by opening the radiator drain on the bototm of the radiator. You can use Volvo or other Volvo approved coolants such as Zerex G-05 anitfreeze which your parts store should have on hand. Safe Driving!

Re: price question

I looked on line. if the air was to work and blow cold air it could be worth around $1200-$1400. The average resale thought is about $600-$800. What really matters though, is are you happy with the trade, with that said, nothing else matters. You sound like the type of person I would like to have for...

1998 V70 code PO 172

JBlackburn; are you out there? I have code (PO 172/ system too rich B1) that I have reset about 5 times. I have cleaned the MAF, changed plugs, changed plug wires, coil, changed air cleaner, replaced temp sensor. Could this mean I need a new cap and rotor? I am also aware of a leak in my heater core...

Re: drivers window stuck in down position

Once it is clean and works, it should be fine until it gets dirty again.
