I installed the TYC blower in my 2002 S80 Sep 2017 and it has been working great. Quiet. No chirping. Blower bearing from Volvo boneyard maybe iffy if it is old.

On my Volvo S80, there is small retangular Gortex like membrane on the dust cap that covers the rear the the light bulb assembly.
