Re: 850 seat cushion foam replacement.

I've recently swapped in a manual grey cloth -no heat- drivers seat from a '94 with 75K miles.
It seems to place me further forward in the rear-most position.
However, with my stock leather-power-heated seat on my porch, I have time to consider my options.

In my case, the bottom of the seat gave ...

Maybe the transmission is in Winter Mode?

Re: bulb failure indicator

Mine did it. The center brake light ground was loose. I yanked on it real hard, and the issue has not reappeared for over a year.

However, regarding your specific issue, I'd first guess the bulbs do not match, and there is different draw between the sides.
This should trigger the bulb indicator ...

850T - Does right front tire wear more quickly?

My right front tire seems to wear more quickly than the others.
Does it have something to do with the torque,
or would it probably be a suspension issue?

Also:
I'm going to do an "X" rotation this week.
I notice the Columba rims are R/L specific.
If my tires are not directional, would it matter if ...

Re: Test drove a S70 T-5 1998 5 Speed, looking for your thoughts

After reading your excellent good/bad list, I had $300 in mind as a top offer.
I'd walk away. There are far finer examples to one not in a hurry for wheels.

Re: Volvo 850 T5 - automatic Sport Mode/Economy Mode????

My wife likes the calm, sedate security of Economy mode.
When she is a passenger, that is where it stays.

For me, Sport, because it doesn't use that much more fuel.

Re: V70 XC, 1998 - loud pinging under console - viscous coupler?

Tracking down issues is fine, but . . .

My 1994 has 190,000 on it, and makes plenty of odd noises, but runs great.
It's the equivalent of an 85 year old in great overall health but with bad hips.
Grandpa's overall well-being would be best served by staying out of the hospital.
