A Dice is the best tool, I messed about with different scanners, Dice will do everything, then for Diags its a godsend. you can do everything from vida, monitor the engine, pull pretty graphs for the ETM module, turn on the lights and honk the horn all with a click of mouse!

There maybe a software issue in doing this, there keep the old transmission, there is a guy on the board who can (via DICE) download the old software and then clone onto your new part. Or you can go to volvo and have them use VIDA to reload or update the software to the ETM. Not always cheap.. Dice ...
