Re: Ecc flashing lights-blower not working.

Bear in mind that the 850's and V70's shipped with two systems. The Manual Climate Control (MCC) is a pretty basic setup. The Electronic Climate Control is automated and "smarter". I think you may be confusing the MCC ( that uses actual resistors for the lower blower motor speeds ) and the ECC that...

Re: Has anyone done the line in stereo mod?

I've been using one of the Grom-USA units in my V70R for years now. Impressed with the sound quality. Actually.much better than the FM radio stations. Can also take calls and listen to all your media from your phone.

Re: Just how rare is your Volvo

Does anyone know if any records of 1998 to 2000 Volvo V70 R's were kept? I can't find any information on these cars. I am buying a 1998 V70 R that is excellent condition and the only mod is a dual exhaust IPD exhaust besides the rims it is totally stock.. The 1996 to 1998 had an option of BBS wheel...

Re: Location of accelerator position sensor

I managed to unplug it and sprayed contact cleaner all over the connector. Let's see if that does anything. Thanks!

Location of accelerator position sensor

My ETS light on my '00 V70R came on and I read the code off VIDA and it came up as "accelerator position signal faulty". The car is running normal so I reset the code and everything was good for a couple weeks until it came on again this morning. Both times there was heavy snow on the road so I don'...

Re: 1997 850 Fuel Pump Topic is solved

Just got my '00 V70R back after having the fuel pump replaced and the new one is real loud. Supposedly it's a Volvo/OEM pump but not sure how long this pump is supposed to last screaming like that. I'm worried it won't last long. Should I worry or complain to the shop?

Re: Coolant light on......AGAIN!

OK, my low coolant lamp lights up a few minutes after running the car (just about when the temp stabilizes) then turns off a couple minutes later. The reservoir is full. Happens every day. I thought it was the sensor, so I replaced it but it does the same thing. I'm now stumped. The only thing else ...

Just be careful because I heard it could get pretty shaky upon re-entry back onto earth.
