Just to add to the information:

I took apart my SC-816 today to do the hookup. it is not possible on this headunit as far as i can tell. The cassette module only connects with a ribbon cable to the main board. There are no separate audio connections. Bummer.

I believe it's the standard leather/canvas interior that came in the xc models without the full leather option. I've seen it in several other 98 xc's. Annnd, which emblems do you mean? The "WD" one is simply because the "A" fell off. lol. $36 for that emblem. I'll hold off for now.
