Oh, sorry I've been absent for a while, and I just remembered I had posted a good 10 days ago! :) So, you say that most likely I don't need to replace that part, just "relocate" it using some tie-wrap? I was looking at autopartswarehouse.com and ipd, and they didn't seem to carry that part...

Code A2: 2-1-4

Hello all, As my wife was driving my 1995 850 Turbo Wagon baby on the highway, the engine felt like it was "slipping" - I think that's the best analogy I can find - at speeds around 70 mph. It did it only once at those higher speeds. At the same moment, the Check Engine light came on, and ...

Wow! I can't wait to know if I can apply this to my Volvo 1995 850 Turbo Wagon. I'm a Canadian in California, much more used to my good old Celcius and kilometers... that'd be awesome... and I could leave it as such when I sell it to a hardcore Californian too!!! :D

Geez do I miss Canadian Tire! I deported myself to sunny San Diego, California, but was born and raised in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Upon arriving in SoCal, I looked everywhere for a store named "American Tire", but there is no real equivalent to that northern iconic store where you can get car ...

87, 89 or 91 octane in a 850 turbo?

Okay, I bought my 1995 Volvo 850 turbo wagon, about 9 months ago, and the previous owner provided me neither with service records, nor with the user's manual! I have a simple question, for which extensive searches have not provided me with a definitive answer: Should I put premium, regular or interm...

I did it!!! :D

The title is self-explanatory. However, a few comments / questions are in order. Can someone, for the benefit of others, please explain where are the extra Torx screws that may be unscrewed, so that the entire dash top can come apart? I did the "wiggle-the-dash" thing, and ended up breakin...

I own a 1995 850 Turbo wagon. Sorry to be technical, but when RENNS mentions "turn ignition on", should I assume that means position II on the key contact, and not actually turning the engine on? Or is it the latter? Thanks a lot! I'll be selling my Beautiful Awesome Tank in about 6 weeks ...

1995 Volvo turbo wagon (850)

Lo and behold, I got the codes. From the A2 port: 433 and 314 - cam position and rear knock sensors faulty From the A3 port: 141 and 142. Any chance one of these sensors has a bearing on the fuel gauge needle? Anyhow, I cleared the codes (by the way, I hear some metal shearing sound, albeit light, c...

The instructions are there: http://volvospeed.com/850slight.php

It's easy enough that I could do it myself, the first time around. However, I drive a Volvo 1995 850 Wagon. Should be similar for you. Volvo experts with more expertise than myself may want to weigh in on this.

Cheers!
