Went out to go replace my power steering pump today and haven't had any issues opening the hood before. Tried to pop the hood and as usual with the v70's one side didn't want to go so i placed my wallet under the grill to help pop it the rest of the way up. so i cleaned the connectors the harness side had a lot of rotted rubber. This has made no difference in the code it still pops up so it looks like i will be getting another sensor

i replaced it with an autozone equivalent i had used them in the engine before this and had no issue the slightly used one was a volvo oe

i have had both of these check engine codes pop up in the last few days. i replaced the etc on the thermostat twice now with a slightly used sensor i knew was in working condition and a brand new sensor. I am still getting the engine codes so what else could i do to fix this

turns out it was a bad starter now to re do the vaccum lines to the turbo

ok so with the gear selector in reverse the reverse lights do come on. I have tried the fix of rocking the shifter back and forth from p to l with no change and no start. I am 99% sure all of the grounding wires are connected to the engine and trans. Where would one i may have missed be?

I just put a newer engine into my volvo and thought i had all of the wires plugged up. When ever you try to start the car you do not get a starter tick you just get the fuel pump priming. What could i have missed or not done. Have also tried two different batteries and neither made a difference the ...
