Re: car won't start until the engine cools down
My 91 940SE turbo was doing the same thing. My fix was a new ECU, it was losing ground. No problem with that since.

Miss at all speeds
I have a 91 945 SE Turbo that I had a leak in the fuel rail. I removed the rail and the injectors and repaired the leak and put a new seal kit on all the injectors and reassembled. No leaks. However, now I have a dead miss at all speeds (not all the time but often enough). This problem was not prese...

Have you checked the MAF sensor?

Re: car will not idle and stalls out when at stop sign or li
Changing that part is a piece of cake. ipdusa.com has them for less than $200.00. However, I cleaned mine with The same stuff used to clean my Mass Air Flow sensor, you can get it at any part store. Good Luck. Oh Yeah check the hoses they can clog up.

Oil pressure
The oil light (low oil pressure?) will come on at idle (between 750-1000 rpm) on my 91 945 SE turbo, after the car is at operating temp. Do I think oil pump or something else. I am using 20w50 oil and change it religiously at 3000 miles or 3 months. The car has about 500,000 miles on it. I...

Throttle Position Sensor, IAC (Idle Air Control motor), RPM sensor. To name a few. Good Luck. Oh yea, the MAF sensor.

Re: 91 945 turbo
After checking the clusters very closely, it is apparent that only clusters from 940 SE, 760 and 960 are compatible. 740 and 940 clusters are totally different and the fuel gauge is not in the circuit. Beats me why?

Re: 91 945 turbo
Thanks for the info Bill. I am going to attempt to put my original clock and fuel gauge with the "new" speedo and see if it will work. If not, I will just estimate fuel use by the odometer. I will post results later.

91 945 turbo
Really stumped on this one. I recently purchased a cluster from salvage, because my speedometer had stopped working. The "new" cluster was exactly like mine except for the clock. My 945 had a clock that was adjusted electrically and the "new" cluster has a clock that is adjusted ...
