Low voltage after battery and alternator replacement
Hello:
I recently replaced the alternator with a remanufactured Bosh, and installed a new Interstate battery. Unfortunately, I am only 13.42 volts while the engine is running without any accessories on.
Please advise

S70 T5 Vapor-lock when Hot
Hello:
Recently experiencing vapor lock when the temps are high. Typically, I just have to wait for things to cool off––but this is increasingly taking upwards of 6 hours.
Thoughts, comments, recommendations?

Re: Bubbling Coolant
Yes, I checked the deck with a level and feeler gauge, and had the head resurfaced before installation. The leak is a result of stripped threads––not sure if its the brass threads on the temperature sensor, or the aluminum housing itself. Either way, I was hoping to avoid having to remove the thermo...

Bubbling Coolant
I recently completed a head gasket repair and replaced every coolant hose in the system, including a new radiator, bottle and cap. Unfortunately, I am building pressure somewhere and bubbling over at the cap. I have been unable to detect any issues with cross contamination with the oil and engine co...

Thermostat Housing
Cracked the thermostat housing during my head install. Yes, I was using a torque wrench and still cracked it.
As such, I need a replacement for my 98 s70 T5
Thanks!

Heater Core Pipe (Leak Fix)
This forum has discussed the replacement heater core distributed by Swedish Car Parts at great length, which is decidedly a great product. Notwithstanding the quality of this product, some Volvo enthusiasts have experienced coolant leaks at the juncture between the heater core and the coolant pipes....

Re: Mystery Bolt
After much advice, and additional diligence, I discovered that the "mystery bolt" attached the oil cooler thermostat to the engine block. At some point in time, this bolt was swapped for the torx and was tapped to accommodate this larger bolt.
Thanks again!!
