99 S80 T6 Another Tranny gone Bad

I know this is an old thread, but I also took my car to The Volvo Store in Orlando (Winter Park). They wanted to replace my transmission AND radiator at a cost of $5400.00. I got a second opinion, and there was nothing wrong with either the transmission or radiator!

They should be reported to problem solvers or something. My car needs the ETM wish is a recall repair, but in order to do that they said that the car needed the breather box replaced 600.00. They are so full of it.

Question here re S80 trannys I have a 2001 S80 2.9 does that also have the GM transmission in it?

Not sure on the 01 but a volvo tech told me if I ever got another S80 to get it 01 an up. So something must be better.
