Yea so I have a 1994 volvo 850 with the heated seats option. A while ago I took it in cause the power seat on the drivers side was stuck in a reclined position. Before bringing it in, the heated seat worked, now it doesn't. Did they unplug a wire or something? What are my chances of getting it fixed free of charge if I tell them waht happened. Thanks
~Brian

Don't know your chances, but I can tell you that when my drivers' side heat went out it was a broken contact on the thermostat. It looks like these contacts get pushed and pulled with every recline/forward-back of the seat until they snap.
Follow the wire that goes straight up the bottom of the seat.
