What does TWEEKED mean? It's not sitting straight? It should have a bolt on the front of it.

tweeked means not sitting straight and aligned with alternator pulley as you can see in the picture, there's a cover on the middle of the pulley but can't seem to get it off!!

IDK, maybe someone will help soon. I'll check my repair manual.

Always thought that "tweaked" meant modified for more performance, sometimes by a backyarder. ie: I have a cool ride with a "tweaked" motor.
Guess I'll have to look out for that in future!!

Your idler pulley does look quite offset on the image. See attached file for idler positioning - hope this is your case; if you have a different engine please specify engine type (e.g. B5252FS) and I will post another procedure.
Cheers!

I'm not sure if it's tweaked- there are grooves on the belt that should keep it on.
I'm wondering if the tensioner is worn out, not putting enough pressure on the belt?
It would be very hard to lift- you really can't lift it without a tool.

One of your pulleys is wrong, either the alternator or idler. I bought an alternator with a pulley that had a spacer on it that pulled it away from the other pulleys. Your picture looks exactly like mine did. I had to order a pulley from the dealer but you could find one in a junk yard. Hope this helps.

I see that bolt cover in the (great!) attachment. How does one remove that cover to get to the bolt? The pulley could be shot, with the center hole wallowed out, which would also explain its lop-sidedeness...but I doubt it...
