With a thin coat of RTV, AISIN water pump is on. Bolts are all the way in comfortably, firm but not torqued at this time. RTV cure time is 24 hours. I would torque the bolts once cured.

I received the OEM TB kit today, new rollers are stiffer than those removed. The tensioner came with a plastic piece, that wasn't there with old one removed.

The shank in thermostat is soaked with PB Blaster. This could cause more trouble if not handled carefully.

A very productive day today. I think it could be running Saturday afternoon.

The thermostat shank removal is complete, details here...viewtopic.php?f=1&t=50844.

Used cn90's tips and tricks for thermostat replacement.

Water pump and all tb components are installed. All torqued to specification.
Belt was slipped in from below easily, now around the crank gear, but a few teeth short coming to tensioner roller. There is bit of a slack before the intake cam.

Not thinking clearly.

Great start this morning, belt couldn't stand my advances. I now have water pump and tb components fully installed.
Timing marks are holding firmly. I am about to start the two turns on crank.

Moving on the next steps.

If all goes well, I will switch to zerex coolant after two cycle of wash with distilled water. Then only I would have restored the cooling and heating system with all new components.

That thermostat housing looks new.

I treated the housing with citrus cleaner, and scrubbed it a little.

I am sipping afternoon tea for a very productive morning. I have accomplished each task outlined for this cooling and heating project.
It is running again. Thank you all so much.

Some of you pointed to PCV early in this thread, so I tested it. It looks suspicious to me, will post photos with new topic.
