Stalling 240DL

I have a 1993 240 DL that stalls periodicaly. It always happens when it is at idle speed. Starts right up after it stalls. It just passed smog with good numbers. Plugs look good as does rotor and distributor cap. I had a repairman work on the brakes and it stalled on him so he adjusted the idle upwards. However problem still persists. Sometimes it goes for weeks without stalling then for no apparent reason it stalls. Anyone have any ideas on this.

Check small rubber hose that goes from intake (just behind throttle body) to fuel pressure regulator. If this hose is leaking or falls off car will stall when you come up to stop sign.

Stalling and overall wierd behavior from your 240 more then likely means that your fuel relay has starting to go bad. It's $25-50 depending on where you buy it.
