2001 V70 Sunroof

Opened the sunroof up to investigate a rattle noise a found a long metal bar sitting inside the sunroof opening. Volvo said nothing they could do and to take the car to a glass specialist. Evidently the metal piece came loose from underneath the front of the sunroof glass. This shouldn't take too much effort to fix in my opinion. Does anyone have a do-it-youself fix for regluing this piece? Thanks.

PS: In th last six months on my 113k mile v70 T5; brakes, transmission, steering wheel, tires, AC compressor, timing belt, ignition coil, throttle cleaning, and my wife won't trade it in.
