Need radio code for SC-816

Hi eveyone! I know there's a couple of dealers on here so hopefully someone can help me out. I recently replaced the PNP switch in my 1998 V70 XC and naturally the radio no longer works. I believe it to be the original radio for the car.

Information you'll need:
VIN# YV1LZ5649W2442129
Serial# VO8170 V9279116B

I'm not incredibly worried about anyone reading this and stealing my radio so responses in the forum are fine.

I did also play with radio a bit, so now it doesn't say "CODE" anymore, it just says "OFF"". Is this a major issue and how do I get back to enter my code once I get it?

You will need to turn the ignition on and let it sit for 3-4 hours before you can try the correct code again, if its like my 99

I hope that isn't the case

But if yours is the same model radio then I will assume it probably is the case. Bummer dude. I do have a working radio that I pulled from my other car so it's not like I'm driving in silence, but it's not the radio that came in the car and it's a bit worn.

It's 2 hours, not 3-4, or just drive for 2 hours and don't turn the key off
If it is an original radio, I should have your code in a few minutes for you

Hopefully this picture is readable. The numbers below the 3533771-1 are 4980 on the left and 9709 on the right. There is also the number 816GB printed on the side of the radio.
