How to re-stablish crank pulley position?

Those look like steel tools, awesome! More durable. My crank and front cam tools are aluminum and the rear cam seal has a brass sleeve in it. Looks like the main difference of theirs and mines is that I had a step made to insert a stop for the seal to be set in the engine. Those either seat the seal flush or you have to stop at the depth you want???

I used Volvo OE front seal that came in an oil pump kit. Decided not to pull the oil pump after-all (I'm only so brave!) and just used the crank seal.
Tools are steel and they bottom out at the correct depth. Main thing to watch with all the seals are not to push them too far in as most have a drain hole at the lowest point behind the seal.
