STI plug wires

I bought an extended service tuneup kit from FCP, not realizing the wires weren't Bougis.

Anyone used 'em? Do I try 'em or do I beg for an exchange?

Even if they work ok for a while, if you get misfires next year you'll be wondering if it could be the wires.

I'm not really much use here because I've never used them but ... I'd exchange 'em.

I would to- don't know why but I've never seen anything that is not bougicords work in our cars long-term. I've even exchanged brand new duralast wires for some bougi's I took out of another car that had 120K miles on them to see if the wires were the problem and they were.

I'd try them, worse case is you end up replacing them sooner than expected.

Whatever you do, if you try any aftermarket wires, put the electrical grease on the ends so they don't get stuck in the spark plug wells.
