2007 xc70 aut.trans compatibility

Hi!
I do have a 2007 XC70 that needs a new aut.transmission.
The serial nr is 30751347, and I can get a second hand tranny from a V70 with serial 30751345.
There also is another one I can get with serial 30681186
Does anyone here know if it will fit?

That's not a serial number; that's a part number. The serial number usually starts with a number then a letter.

You can just make out this late 2001 part number in the upper window of 8636765. The serial number starts with 01CV

It's always better to get a close match with the serial number as part numbers can run for 3 years.

To further clarify you need to get a transmission with the same part number and very close serial numbers. Sometimes you need to cross match part numbers against a database such as the one at Tasca Parts to see if one number has superceded to the other you are checking. If there is no supercession and match up don't buy that transmission with a non-matching part number because it probably won't work properly.
