Does the 850 have a cooling system bleed valve?

Post by Jonesy »

I have just replaced the coolant in my V850, using a 30 percent solution of Nulon anti-freeze/boil & corrosion inhibitor, but now I am having overheating and boiling issues. I am guessing that there may be some air in the system, but I cannot see any air bleed valve. Does anyone know if there is an air bleeding procedure for the 850 cooling system?

No bleed valve...just keep massaging the main hose to the radiator with the car idling and heat on. However, your issue may be a bad thermostat.
